1 week, 6 days of consistent 630am running, and I can feel the pain building up. It tiring, and it takes strong will power to wake up early and go for the runs. I am still finding ways to replenish the energy everytime I come back from the morning runs.
I have tried oats, tons of water, high protein food like fish, and I realised the only thing that can bring my energy back up again was carbs, which includes pure sugar and rice. I am still careful on the intake though as I would not want to gain any unnecessary weight in the attempt to pass my IPPT.
Maybe I lack salt? Or basically I just need to replace my glycogen levels after a heart thumping suicidal run?
